Reigning world champion Hank McGregor won another K2 title at the SA Marathon Championships in St Francis on Sunday, this time with his Dusi partner Andy Birkett. The win secures another shot at extending his record of world marathon titles in Portugal in September. He told Dave Macleod that he had not been planning to contest another marathon world title

INTERVIEW Bridgitte Hartley
Olympic medallist Bridgitte Hartley completed the K1 and K2 double at the South African Marathon Championships at St Francis Bay, when she won the doubles title with Melissa van Rooyen. She told Dave Macleod that she had not expected the K2 title.
