Dolphins hoping to bounce back against Cobras

Durban - Following their second round disappointment, the Hollywoodbets Dolphins will be looking forward to their return to Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium to get their campaign back on track when they face the Six Gun Grill Cape Cobras starting on Monday.

The Dolphins will go into the contest against the Cape Town-based side with two of their key players missing. Keshav Maharaj and Andile Phehlukwayo are with the Proteas in their bio-secure environment preparing for their upcoming series against England.

The Dolphins will be happy to welcome back speedster Daryn Dupavillon who has been hampered by an injury as well as all-rounder Eathan Bosch. Bosch missed the majority of last season with a serious injury and will be a welcome addition to the Dolphins squad.

There is no need to hit any sort or alarm buttons for the Dolphins who have won one game and lost one game in the competition.

"As a team we've put our match against the Knights behind us and we've been working hard this week," captain Marques Ackerman said. "We've just tried to work on the things that we did really well in our first game against the Lions.

"With the international players gone it gives some new guys the opportunity to step up but we won't make any serious changes for this week's game."

With Dupavillon, Bosch and the experienced Prenelan Subrayen back in the squad for the match the Dolphins are looking to try and maintain some consistency in selection.

"We're excited to have Daryn, Eathan back in the squad from injury and to also have Prenelan back adds a lot or experience.

"I think that we can expect similar conditions to what we've had at Kingsmead for the past few games which is going to be good for us and we want to capitalise on our home conditions," Ackerman added.
