Kingsmead atmosphere continues for Dolphins’ T20 Challenge
Durban – Sahara Stadium Kingsmead in Durban is the place to be on Sunday
afternoon as the Hollywoodbets Dolphins get their 2016/17 CSA T20
Challenge campaign underway against the Warriors in a mouth-watering
While the action promises to be red-hot on the field, it will be no less
exciting off it as the atmosphere at the home of the Hollywoodbets
Dolphins continues from where it left off at the thrilling conclusion of
the historic South Africa vs. Australia Momentum ODI five weeks ago.
Dubbed by many as the greatest One Day International clash ever to be
staged at Sahara Stadium Kingsmead, the iconic clash saw the Standard Bank
Proteas memorably chase down a hefty target of 372 for victory with
Durbanite David Miller (118*) and Dolphins star all-rounder Andile
Phehlukwayo (42*) getting the home side across the line.
“The ODI between South Africa and Australia at the beginning of October
was a truly magical cricketing occasion and one of the finest run chases
ever between these two renowned cricketing nations,” said Hollywoodbets
Dolphins Acting CEO, Rajesh Behari.
“Those who witnessed the match – especially those final ten or so overs –
played a key role in creating such a wonderful spectacle and are sure to
remember the day for many years to come,” he adds.
As the domestic cricket season now switches from four-day to white-ball
mode this weekend, spectators the province over are urged to get to Sahara
Stadium Kingsmead and continue experiencing and contributing to the
special in-stadium atmosphere.
The return of the popular ‘Catch a Million’ competition, whereby fans
stand a chance of winning a share of R1million should they catch a six
cleanly and one-handed at any televised T20 Challenge match, has again
sent cricket enthusiasts into a spin as the look to stake their claim for
a share of the spoils.
The Dolphins title sponsors, Hollywoodbets have also shown their support
of Dolphins supporters through the introduction of the Hollywoodbets

The ‘Hollywoodbets Hotties’ dancing girls, team of ‘Crazies’, face
painters, stilt walkers, giant slides and plenty of competitions and
giveaways are also sure to compliment the explosion of sixes and fours and
wickets aplenty that will be unfolding out on the pitch.
The Dolphins’ T20 Challenge home clashes also present the province’s club
cricket fraternity with another exciting opportunity after Hollywoodbets
confirmed that they will provide transport to and from the ground,
tickets, #DolFANarmy attire as well as food vouchers for twenty members of
a selected club’s members per home game. The Kwadebeka Cricket Club will
enjoy the privilege of being the first to benefit from this innovative
On top of being able to witness all the action live – a first for many of
those set to be given this opportunity – Hollywoodbets will also make a
donation to each match’s hosted club of R200 per six hit on the day, with
this increased to R2000 if the six is hit onto the Hollywoodbets branded
roof of the West Stand.
Clubs needn’t worry if the unlikely situation of the ball crossing the
ropes along the ground rather than in the air arise as at each match’s
chosen club will receive a minimum of R5000 to be put towards the
betterment of their cricket programmes and facilities.
All in all a fascinating CSA T20 Challenge tournament awaits Holywoodbets
