Ebrahim moves on after 17 years in KZN cricket

Durban - Yashin Ebrahim has stepped down as the Provincial Coaching Education Manager at KZN Cricket, to pursue a career in cricket's private sector.

With just over a decade-and-a-half of service to the sport in the province, Ebrahim thanked the union for their support and loyalty of the years.

“It has been incredible to see and be involved in the progress of so many players including the likes of Hashim Amla and Imraan Khan over the past 17 years,” said Ebrahim.

“Cricket is my passion and I will remain in the game in a private capacity whether that is working with schools or as a private coach, we will just have to wait and see,” he added.

The interim CEO of the Hollywoodbets Dolphins franchise Muhammad Seedat thanked Ebrahim for his service to the sport in KwaZulu-Natal, and his willingness to get involved with all aspects of the game.

"Yash has been a great servant of the game in this province. His contribution has been felt at the highest levels, assisting the head coach of the Hollywoodbets Dolphins, while adding his expertise to many of the other tiers of the game, and nurturing future talent through our academy,” said Seedat.

“We thank him sincerely for his contribution and wish him all the best in the future,” he added.
