Keep dreaming of Eston MTB glory
Eston – Current Junior Girls Cross Country, Marathon, Road and Time
Trial national champion Tiffany Keep is hoping that she can make a big
statement by winning the overall women’s crown at the upcoming Illovo
Eston MTB Challenge on Sunday, 5 August.
The young Thomas More learner has been one of the up-and-coming stars of
cycling in South Africa for a number of years and will be hoping that
she can finally make that demanding step up to the top step of a

podium and it would be great to win the race but with such a strong
field expected I would be happy to finish in the top three.
“There are going to be a number of top riders there as always because
Eston is always one of the most prestigious titles to win, so it is
going to be an exciting race.”
Keep’s second place at Eston in 2017 was a solid result for the
youngster and she is hoping for more of the same at an event that she,
and many other top mountain bikers, hold in high regard.
“Of all of the marathon races that I do, I think that Eston must be one
of the highlights because of the great course and the quality of the
field that we get there.
“I have become accustomed now to racing those longer distances on a
mountain bike so I am enjoying these marathon races more.
“To come up against riders that are stronger than me is the ultimate
challenge and that is something that I always look forward to,” she
