Keegan Petersen was instrumental in holding the innings together as he went an important half century, he was eventually dismissed for 56.

The fireworks then started as Keshav Maharaj went to the fastest half century in the 4-Day Domestic Series at the Imperial Wanderers when he went to 50 off just 30 deliveries.
